A visitor asking for directions. A family seeing the city for the first time. A conversation that turns into a memory.
As a Phambassador, you’ve been a part of those moments time and time again…the magic of the Wanamaker Light Show to the historic 52 Firsts of our city to swinging into success at the PGA tournament with many others. You have already shown others how “Philly Special” we are, but now the time has finally come for what we all have been waiting for – to JOIN THE PHORCE, the official volunteer platform for Phambassadors.
We are calling all of you to get off the bench and Join the Phorce to gear up for FIFA, MLB All-Star Game, PHL250 celebrations, the Fourth of July parade, and many others. We need you on the front lines—greeting visitors, sharing knowledge, and making sure every person who comes to Philadelphia leaves with that signature feeling of brotherly love.

So, how do you Join the Phorce?
It’s easy. You’ll receive an email from the Phambassadors inviting you to claim your account on Join the Phorce. By clicking to claim your account, you’ll be directed to Join the Phorce and enter your member profile. From there, you view and sign up for volunteer events exclusive for Phambassadors.

- I didn’t receive an email to create my account. Help!

- I don’t have any Phambassador swag. What am I supposed to wear to volunteer?
- Each volunteer event may have different requirements. Some partners will require that you wear their uniform while others will want you to wear a Phambassador volunteer uniform.
- Partners that require you to wear their uniform will provide that to you, though we ask that you wear a Phambassador button to identify yourself when volunteering.
- For Phambassadors that require a Phambassador uniform, the Philadelphia Visitor Center will hold a uniform pick up day where Phambassadors can obtain their uniforms.
- Will I be notified of new volunteer opportunities?
- Yes and no. The Phambassador program will send out a volunteer newsletter, highlighting new opportunities once or twice a month. The Phambassador team recommends Phambassadors check in frequently as new opportunities are being posted all the time.
- Is there an app I can use?
- Yes! Join the Phorce is powered by GivePulse. You can download their app from the Google Play Store or App Store. Once you have the app downloaded, you can login using your Join the Phorce login.
